Az335 · 2026 MS Battleground

The complete source tree and gameplay rework for AzerothCore plus mod-playerbots, including the battleground AI that fills the ranks and the server deployment notes. Every change is written down.

How it is built

A server-side rework built on AzerothCore and mod-playerbots, with the full source tree published under GPLv2.

A companion repository holds the documentation, patches, scripts and tools, maintained separately from the source tree.

The goal of the rework is plain: a single person should be able to get a battleground running.

Features

What it does

No need to open GitHub — this page spells it out.

01

Complete source tree

AzerothCore and mod-playerbots in full, open sourced under GPLv2. No private branches.

02

A battleground one person can run

The bot configuration is tuned so a single player can fill the battleground, without waiting for a lobby.

03

Docs and tools in their own repository

Patches, scripts and operations tools live in a separate repository, so upgrading the source never wipes what you changed.

04

Reproducible

Follow the README and the server comes up, with no unpublished resources involved.
